Springfield, Missouri Area Venues

Many times couples contact me and they don't have a place to get married, a venue. I am happy to say that you can have a wedding ceremony just about anywhere you want. It's just a matter of picking a spot.

If you're thinking about having your wedding ceremony outside, consider one of Springfield, Ozark or Nixa's parks (or your own City Park). Springfield has several parks that make great outdoor venues including Phelps Grove Park, Nathanael Greene Park and the Mizumoto Japanese Stroll Garden. Find out more information by visiting www.parkboard.org. If you want to have a guaranteed venue, most of the parks have pavilions for rent. For example the Redbud Gazebo at the Botanical Gardens rents for $100/hour. (www.parkboard.org, Rentals, Handbook). Another unique pavilion location is The Springfield Lake Boathouse (www.parkboard.org/255/Springfield-Park-Boathouse-Marina).

If you would like hold your wedding ceremony indoors, you a lot of options. Most of the hotels in the area rent out space for events, like The Vandivort Hotel in downtown Springfield (www.hotelvandivort.com).

You can also select a barn venue and there are many in the area including Timber Line Barn in Buffalo (www.timberlinebarn.com),The Round Barn on Clear Creek in Walnut Grove (www.theroundbarnmo.com) and Samuel Cedars in Rogersville (www.samuelcedars.com). These locations provide indoor and outdoor space.

As you can see, you have options when it comes to selecting a venue. Please text Lauren at 417-300-0216 if you need a wedding officiant to perform your ceremony. I would be honored to be part of your day!
